Champions: Zia Inter-University T-10 Cricket
SU cricket team beat 32 universities to win the Zia Inter-University T-10 Cricket Tournament, defeating Fareast International University by 48 runs in the final.

IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman (FDT Dept., SU) became the undefeated champion of the 1st Zia International FIDE Rapid Rating Chess Tournament, honoured by the State Minister for Youth and Sports.
