Sonargaon University is an approved private university under the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC ID 97) and the Government of Bangladesh. Our engineering programs are accredited through BAETE, ensuring your degree carries genuine national and professional recognition.
We make quality education affordable through 50–100% tuition scholarships based on academic results. Students with outstanding SSC and HSC results including Golden A+ holders can qualify for up to 100% tuition waivers, alongside freedom-fighter and other special quotas.

Sonargaon University is governed by the Sonargaon University Trust, a non-political, non-profit body led by eminent academicians and entrepreneurs. It was formed to put quality higher education within reach of students from every economic background, and its stewardship is what gives the university long-term stability, ethical governance, and a genuinely student-centred direction.
More than 300 qualified and dedicated faculty members teach across our programs. They bring research experience, industry insight, and modern teaching methods into the classroom, and they stay close enough to their students to mentor them rather than simply lecture them.
