The Department of Bangla organized a heartfelt tribute to Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam through discussion, recitation and cultural performances.
To commemorate the birth anniversaries of two of the greatest icons of Bangla literature and culture, Rabindranath Tagore, the World Poet, and Kazi Nazrul Islam, the National Poet of Bangladesh, the Department of Bangla at Sonargaon University organized a heartfelt tribute program.
The event was graced by Professor Dr. Mohammad Ekramul Islam, Acting Vice Chancellor of Sonargaon University, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished faculty members, students and invited guests also attended the program.
Through insightful discussions, poetry recitations and cultural performances, participants paid profound tribute to these two legendary literary figures. Their enduring contributions to literature, humanity, equality and secular values continue to inspire society and encourage younger generations to build a creative, compassionate and progressive Bangladesh.
